Auto-Publish

Auto-publish is the flagship feature of The Photographers' Blogger. Once enabled, your approved posts publish to your website automatically — no manual steps required.

How Auto-Publish Works

When auto-publish is on, here's the flow:

  1. Topics are generated based on your preferences
  2. You approve topics (or they auto-approve if you've set it up that way)
  3. Posts are written by the AI
  4. Posts publish to your website on your scheduled dates
  5. You get a notification when each post goes live

You never need to open the editor, copy content, or click a publish button.

Enabling Auto-Publish

During Onboarding

When you first set up your account, you'll be asked if you want auto-publishing enabled. Select Yes, publish automatically to turn it on from day one.

From Settings

To enable or disable auto-publish at any time:

  1. Go to Settings → Publishing
  2. Toggle Auto-Publish on or off
  3. Choose whether topics should also auto-approve (more on this below)

Auto-Approval Mode

For the hands-off experience, you can enable Auto-Approval alongside auto-publish:

ModeWhat Happens
Auto-Publish OnlyTopics wait for your approval → posts are written → auto-publish on schedule
Auto-Publish + Auto-ApprovalTopics are automatically approved → posts are written → auto-publish on schedule

With full auto-approval, you don't need to do anything. Posts go from concept to live without your input. You can still review and edit any post before its scheduled publish time.

Start with auto-publish only and topic review. This lets you get comfortable with the content quality before going fully hands-off.

  2. If it still fails, the post is moved back to drafts
  3. You receive a notification explaining the issue
  4. You can retry manually once the issue is resolved

Daily Limits

To protect your site from being flooded, we limit auto-published posts to:

Pausing Auto-Publish

Need to take a break? You can pause auto-publishing:

  1. Go to Settings → Publishing
  2. Toggle Auto-Publish off
  3. All scheduled posts will remain in your schedule but won't publish until you re-enable

Monitoring Auto-Published Posts

Your dashboard's Content → Published section shows all auto-published posts. You can see:

Customizing the Publish Window

You can set a preferred time window for auto-publishing:

  1. Go to Settings → Publishing → Auto-Publish Settings
  2. Set your preferred publish time (e.g., 9:00 AM)

Posts will publish as close to your preferred time as possible.
