Connecting Squarespace

Squarespace is beloved by photographers for its stunning templates and clean design. Currently, Squarespace connections are read-only — we generate the content, and you copy-paste it into your Squarespace site.

Auto-publishing for Squarespace is on our roadmap. We'll notify all Squarespace users as soon as it's available. In the meantime, our manual workflow is designed to be as quick as possible.

What You'll Need

Before starting, make sure you have:

  1. Your Squarespace site URL
  2. Owner or admin access to your Squarespace account
  3. A blog page already set up on your Squarespace site

Step 1: Connect in Your Dashboard

  1. In The Photographers' Blogger dashboard, go to Settings → Websites
  2. Click Connect New Site
  3. Select Squarespace from the platform list
  4. Enter your Squarespace site URL
  5. Click Connect

Step 2: Authorize the Connection

A Squarespace authorization window will open:

  1. Log into your Squarespace account if prompted
  2. Review the permissions
  3. Click Allow to authorize
  4. You'll be redirected back to your dashboard

How Manual Publishing Works

Since auto-publish isn't available yet, here's your workflow:

  1. We generate a post and mark it as Ready to Publish
  2. You open the post in our editor
  3. Click Copy to Clipboard — this copies the formatted post content
  4. Go to your Squarespace site's blog editor
  5. Create a new post and paste the content
  6. Add your featured image and publish

Because Squarespace handles images differently, you'll need to upload any featured images or inline photos manually. We include image placeholders in the copied content so you know exactly where each image goes.

What We Can Do on Your Squarespace Site

Since the connection is read-only:
