Auto-Publish is the setting that makes your blog genuinely hands-off. With it on, every approved post publishes itself at its scheduled time. No final button, no last check, no nagging feeling that you forgot something.
What it changes
| Auto-Publish | What happens |
|---|---|
| On | Approved posts are scheduled automatically and publish themselves — nothing left for you to press. |
| Off | Posts wait as drafts. You choose Schedule and give the final go-ahead yourself. |
Turning it on or off
You'll find the Auto-Publish switch with your website's content preferences. Review and adjust anything, then click Save Preferences — you'll see Saved.
Note
Can't spot the switch? The help beacon in the bottom corner of the dashboard will point you straight to it.
Tip
Keep Auto-Publish off for your first few posts if you want to watch everything closely. Turn it on the moment the drafts feel like you — that's when it sings.
You're always in control
Auto-Publish never takes the wheel from you. Every post is still in your Content Pipeline — edit it, reschedule it, or delete it any time before it goes live.
