Content preferences tell the AI what kind of photographer you are and how you should sound. You set them once per website, and every topic and post uses them.
Where to find them
You'll meet content preferences right after you connect a website — that's when the magic fill-in happens. You can revisit them any time; they live with your website's settings in Connections.
What each setting does
These settings shape every topic and post for that website:
- Business Type: Wedding, Portrait, Family, Newborn, and more — pick what you actually shoot.
- Niche: a short line describing your specialty, for example “luxury wedding photography, fine art newborn portraits”. The more honest the line, the better the posts.
- Audience: who you want reading — engaged couples, new parents, families planning a session.
- Tone of Voice: Professional (“Clear, authoritative, polished”), Casual (“Friendly, conversational, approachable”), or Warm (“Heartfelt, personal”). Pick the one that sounds like you on your best day.
- Writing Person: First Person (I, my) or Third Person (They, the studio).
- English Grammar (dialect): American, British, Australian, or Canadian. Your posts will spell like you.
The fill-in
When you first connect a site, TPB analyzes your website and pre-fills these preferences for you — you'll see Analyzing your website to fill preferences…. Review and adjust anything, then save.
Saving your changes
Click Save Preferences — a Saved. confirmation appears. From that moment, future topics and posts follow the new settings.
Tip
Changed your niche or rebranded? Update your preferences the same day — future posts will match instantly, and published posts stay untouched.
