Who is the Photographer’s Blogger?
The Photographer’s Blogger is a ghost blogging that specializes in writing creative, search engine optimized, content for professional photographers like you. For years, photographer’s have been outsourcing their editing, their social media marketing and yes, even their house cleaning. But when talking to photographers about their business, the number one complaint we hear is “I hate blogging” and the second is “SEO is so intimidating”. Problem, meet solution. Stop spending your precious time doing something you don’t like to do, you don’t have time to do or that you simply don’t want to do. Do what you love, outsource the rest.
How does the Photographer’s Blogger work?
We know that your time is precious, so we’ve streamlined the entire process for you.
The first step is to fill out an About Your Brand questionnaire, giving us essential information about you and your brand. For some, this questionnaire is eye opening, so don’t be afraid to enjoy the process.
The next step is to click on the Submit A Post link in the main menu, selecting whichever type of blog post you’d like us to write for you. Fill it out, attach a zip file with your images and you’ll be automatically forwarded to a secure payment link. It takes about 5-10 minutes. Total.
The final step is to go about your life, enjoying all of your extra time, while the Photographer’s Blogger writes you a kick-ass…er… excellent… nope, definitely kick-ass, blog post. In 7-10 business days you’ll receive an email letting you know it’s done!
Why should I care about blogging?
Blogging is the easiest way to beat out the competition. Search Engine Optimized posts are the fastest way to the top of the search engine results, it’s an awesome way to show off who you are to your clients, and when you blog about your clients you make them feel special by increasing their customer satisfaction. It also gives you something to post on social media and content marketing posts are a great way to make yourself look like an expert. It’s especially important if you’d like to increase the number of clients you’re getting or you’d like to attract a different client all together.
Is there a monthly fee? Or do I have to subscribe to a membership?
Absolutely not. The Photographer’s Blogger requires that you pay PER post, so you’re not commiting to anything or paying for something that you don’t use.
If I use the Photographer’s Blogger to blog for me, will I lose my voice?
Not at all, but this is a common concern. When you first sign up and fill out our About Your Brand questionnaire, you answer questions about your brand and your brand voice. Based on that questionnaire, we are able to successfully write creative content in a voice that’s consistent with your brand. Whether you prefer a relaxed and sarcastic vibe or an assertive and professional tone, we can do that. On top of all of that, when you fill out your Submit A Post questionnaire, you can let us know how you felt on the day of the shoot, and some of your favorite moments, so we can include personal touches and details that will emphasize who you are while connecting with your target audiences.
Do I need to credit the Photographer’s Blogger or will my clients be able to tell I didn’t write it?
Negative. When the Photographer’s Blogger writes a blog post for you, it is YOURS. There is no need to credit us at all. Though we do appreciate if you tell your photographer friends all about us.
Who benefits from the Photographer’s Blogger?
Honestly… anyone who struggles with blogging consistently or who values their time doing other things more than they do blogging. If you don’t have time or would just prefer to spend your time with your family, friends, or walking the dog, we can let you do that. Maybe you just hate writing, or find the process intimidating, we can take care of it for you. If you struggle with SEO or you find yourself productively procrastinating every time you try to blog, we’ll happily do it for you. Of if you’re so busy photographing sessions that you have a back log of blog posts piling up, we can take care of that too. Essentially, if for any reason you’re neglecting your blog, we’re here to support you.
